O R D E R

(Passed on 13.12.2025) The present appeal was filed by the appellant-Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation, Bhandara, seeking challenge to the impugned judgment dated 16th March, 2022, passed by the learned Member, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Bhandra, in M.A.C.P. No.119/2016, thereby allowing the claim petition filed by the present respondents claiming compensation on account of the death of the deceased in a motor vehicular accident.

Today, when the matter is called out before the National Lok-Adalat, Ms. Alka Agrawal, learned counsel, who has filed her memo of appearance and is holding for Mr. A. R. Fule, learned counsel for the appellant, submits that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties. Accordingly, a joint Pursis has been filed. The aforesaid fact is not disputed by Mr. B. S. Mandhare, learned counsel appearing for the respondents.

Today, we have verified the aforesaid settlement in the presence of Mr. Rohit Kashyap, Law Officer, who has been duly authorised by Smt. Tanuja Arvind Ahirkar, Divisional Controller, State Transport, Bhandara, as well as respondent Nos.1 to 3 and 5, who are personally present before us and are duly identified by their learned counsel Mr. B. S. Mandhare. 4.

In view of the aforesaid Pursis, the present appeal stands disposed of as withdrawn.

The appellant-Corporation shall deposit an amount of Rs.15,00,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Lakhs only) in terms of the compromise as agreed in Form 'N', within a period of six weeks. 6.

Copies of the aforesaid Pursis and Form 'N' dated 13th December, 2025 are taken on record and collectively marked as 'Annexure-X'. 7.

Court fee be refunded as per Rules.
