The learned counsel for the appellant submits that although this appeal was withdrawn in terms of order passed before the National Lok Adalat on 17.03.2019 as this appeal was covered under relevant Government Resolutions and the entire amount of compensation was to be deposited before the Reference Court within three months of the order dated 17.03.2019, the appellant was unable to deposit the said amount of compensation and in the meanwhile the validity of cheque for the said amount expired. 2.

It is submitted that if reasonable time is granted, the appellant will deposit the cheque towards the entire amount of compensation and a further permission is sought to deposit this cheque in this Court instead of Reference Court.

In view of above, time to deposit the cheque is extended by a period of three weeks from today. The appellant shall deposit the entire amount of compensation payable to the respondents-claimants in this Court within the aforesaid period of three weeks. Upon such deposit of amount, the respondents-claimants shall be entitled to withdraw the same immediately. 4.

Application is disposed of.
