Ms. N.P. Mehta, learned AGP for the respondents is seeking further time of two weeks.

The request is being strongly opposed by Shri Vivek Awachat, learned counsel for the petitioners. 3.
In this situation, without prejudice to the contentions of the petitioners, we permit the petitioners to deposit fine of Rs.50,000/- with the Tahsildar, Amravati. 4.
If the amount is so deposited, Respondent No. 1 shall arrange to release the truck forthwith, without prejudice to the defences available to him in the matter. 5.
The petitioners shall file an undertaking, while accepting the delivery of truck, that they shall produce the truck, if it is required during the pendency of the proceedings, before any competent authority.

In view of this arrangement, we grant leave to the petitioners to raise all contentions before the Collector, Amravati. If such appeal/ representation is made within seven days from today, the Collector shall look into the grievance and pass suitable orders as per the provisions of
0809wp5281.17 Section 48 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966, within next four weeks.

Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. However, there shall be no order as to costs. JUDGE JUDGE *GS.
