IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY
NAGPUR BENCH, NAGPUR.
WRIT PETITION NO. 5715 OF 2018 (Babankumar s/o Baliram Devikar vs. The Union of India thr. Secretary, Ministry of Finance & Ors.) _____________________________________________________________________________ Office Notes, Office Memoranda of Coram, appearances, Court's orders or directions Court's or Judge's orders.
and Registrar's Orders.
CORAM : B.P. DHARMADHIKARI & M.G. GIRATKAR, JJ.
SEPTEMBER 07, 2018.
Heard Shri S.D. Kahaley, learned counsel for the petitioner.
2.
Perused the impugned order of Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT). The CAT has found no justification on record to condone huge delay. Actions completed before 2002 were sought to be questioned in O.A. presented in 2015. Even before this Court, the effort is to demonstrate that the petitioner was continuously making representations.
3.
It is settled law that unwarranted representations do not extend the period of limitation. Even otherwise, the CAT has looked into merits and found no substance. 4.
Hence, we do not find anything wrong to intervene in extra ordinary jurisdiction. Writ Petition is rejected. No costs.
