Issue notice to the respondents returnable on 25.07.2025.

Learned A.P.P. waive service of notice for the respondents.

While granting relief of parole on the ground that the petitioner's mother is suffering from Cancer, respondent No.2 has imposed a condition to deposit Rs.2,00,000/- towards cash security which, in our view, would amount to denial of relief granted to the petitioner, particularly considering the fact that the petitioner is a labourer.

Learned APP shall take instructions and make statement tomorrow."

Learned APP submits that the petitioner has moved an application to reduce the cash surety amount to Rs. 20,000/-, and accordingly, the amount has been reduced.

Learned counsel appearing for petitioner submits that with the reduction in cash surety, the purpose of filing petition has been served.
