The informant herself has filed this application by invoking the inherent powers of this Court to quash F.I.R. in Crime No.0625/2023 registered by non-applicant No.1 for the offence punishable under Sections 498-A and 506 read with Section 34 of Indian Penal Code.

The informant lady is present before us who is identified by her Advocate. The informant states that due to disagreement the couple decided to severe matrimonial ties in permanency. The informant states that she do not want to prosecute the criminal case as all the proceedings were decided to put an end. On our query informant reiterated her non-inclination and gave no objection.

The matter is of private nature and cannot be said to be antisocial.

In view of above, application is allowed.

We hereby quash and set aside the F.I.R. in Crime No.0625/2023 registered by non-applicant No.1 for the

2 apl1131.2024 offence punishable under Sections 498-A and 506 read with Section 34 of Indian Penal Code.
