Mr. Sangita Jachak, AGP for resp. nos. 1 and 2. CORAM : A.S. Chandurkar & N.B. Suryawanshi, JJ DATE : 20-01-2021.
The petitioners allege non compliance of the order dated 12-01-2018 passed in Writ Petition No.323/2014. By that order the State Government was directed to consider the matter of fixation of staffing pattern in military schools by extending an opportunity to all the military schools functioning within its jurisdiction. By issuing these directions the Writ Petition came to be disposed of. Since there was inaction on the part of the respondents the Contempt Petition came to be filed. During pendency of the Contempt Petition a decision has been taken by respondent no.1-Department by issuing Government Resolution dated 17-09-2020.
2.
The petitioners have now filed Civil Application (N) No.9/2021 praying that directions be issued to respondent no.1 to consider the recommendations of the Expert Committee dated 26-11-2019 and take a proper decision. We find that by issuing Government Resolution dated 17-09-2020 the directions issued in the Writ Petition stand complied with. If the petitioners are not
2 CP 203.18 satisfied with the decision as taken, they are free to challenge the same in accordance with law.
3.
With these observations, the Contempt Petition as well as Civil Application are disposed of.
