Criminal Application (BA) No.628 of 2017 is allowed by this Court by the order passed on 13th July, 2017 and the non-applicant is directed to release the applicant on bail. It is recorded that Vijay Jagam-father of the applicant will stand surety for the applicant.

By this application, it is pointed out that father of the applicant has retired from service and after retirement he has transferred the property in the name of his wife Smt. Vidhya Vijay Jagam. It is prayed that instead of Vijay Jagam (father of the applicant), Smt. Vidhya Vijay Jagam (mother of the applicant) be permitted to furnish the solvent surety. Considering the facts of the case, the order passed on 13th July, 2017 is modified and it is directed that the solvent surety furnished by Smt. Vidhya Vijay Jagam (mother of the applicant) be accepted and it should not be insisted that Vijay Jagam (father of the applicant) should furnish the solvent surety.
