This is an application seeking condonation of delay of 805 days for filing criminal appeal against the judgment and order dated 23.05.2022 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Mangrulipr in Spl. Child Case No. 18/2017, whereby the applicant/appellant has been convicted for the offence punishable under Sections 376(2) (l)(n) of the Indian Penal Code and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for 10 years. The applicant is also convicted for the offence punishable under Sections 3, 4, 5(j)(2)(k)(l) and 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and Section 506 of the Indian Penal Code. 3.

For the reasons stated in the application, delay deserves to be conodoned. Hence, application is accordingly allowed and delay stands condoned.
