The applicant is arrested on 11th November, 2016 in connection with Crime No.6042 of 2016 registered by the non-applicant against four accused (including the applicant) for the offence punishable under Sections 20(c), 25 and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. The accusations against the applicant are that she permitted the co-accused Kudrat Khan to store Ganja in one room of the house occupied by the applicant and the applicant charged Rs.10,000/- per month for it. According to the Investigating Agency, the crime is registered against the accused after raid was conducted and 100 kgs. Ganja is seized from the room owned by the brother of the applicant, but in possession of the applicant.

The investigation is complete and charge-sheet is filed on 5th February, 2017. Co-accused Kudrat Khan and Hussain Khan are released on bail as per the orders passed by

2 ba720.17 this Court. Co-accused Vishwanath is also released on bail as per the orders passed by the Sessions Court. The nonapplicant has not been able to point out that further custody of the applicant is required for investigation. The applicant, woman aged about 45 years, claims to be doing private work to maintain herself and has stated that she is not involved in any other crime/ offence. In the facts of the case, following order is passed: The applicant having been arrested in Crime No. 6042 of 2016 registered by the non-applicant, she be released on bail on executing P.R. Bond for Rs.Fifty Thousand and furnishing two solvent sureties each for Rs.Twenty Five Thousand.
