By this petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to pay the maternity leave benefits to the petitioner.

Shri A.Y. Kapgate, the learned counsel for the Zilla Parishad, states on instructions from the Deputy Chief Executive Officer, General Administration Department of the Zilla Parishad that the case of the petitioner has been favourably considered and the order directing the grant of maternity leave benefits to the petitioner would be passed within a period of two weeks and the benefits would be released in favour of the petitioner immediately thereafter.

In view of the statement made on behalf of the Zilla Parishad, the purpose for filing this writ petition stands served.
