By way of this petition, a prayer is made for extension of parole leave by 15 days. The petitioner is convicted for the offence punishable under Sections 302, 307 of the Indian Penal Code vide judgment and order dated 30.03.2015 passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge-4, Nagpur in Sessions Trial No. 196/2013. He has undergone imprisonment for more than eleven years.

The Petitioner applied for parole leave which was allowed on the ground of serious illness of his father. Accordingly, he was released on 03.06.2025 and the date of his surrender to the Prison is 15.07.2025 today by 05.00 p.m. Today is the last day and accordingly, he has to surrender today by 05.00 p.m.

The extension of parole leave is sought on the ground of his father's illness. The certificate of the Medical Officer, GMC and MAYO General Hospital, Nagpur dated 11.07.2025 is annexed to the petition to show that father of the petitioner was urgently admitted for Angioplasty. The said certificate shows

2 1 wp 554.25 that there are 90% LAD blockages. The said Medical Certificate issued by the Government Hospital support the reasons cited by the petitioner for extension of his parole.

Considering the fact that today is the last day of the petitioner to surrender by 05.00 p.m. and in view of exceptional circumstances brought on record by the petitioner, we are of the view that parole leave granted to the petitioner shall be extended by 15 days. Accordingly, the present petition is allowed in terms of Prayer Clause (a) and thereby, we extend parole leave for a period of 15 days on the same terms and condition of which he was granted parole leave vide order dated 25.05.2025. 6.

Petition stands disposed of in above terms.
