By this writ petition, the petitioner challenges the order of the Divisional Commissioner, Nagpur Division, Nagpur, dated 09.01.2013 rejecting the application of the petitioner for extension of parole leave.

The claim of the petitioner is stale, inasmuch as the petitioner has challenged the order of Divisional Commissioner, dated 09.01.2013 rejecting the extension of the parole leave by filing the writ petition in the year 2017. The petitioner is free to apply for parole or furlough leave in future but no fruitful purpose could be served by entertaining the petition against a stale order that was passed in the year 2013.

Hence, the writ petition is dismissed with no order as to costs.

The professional fees of the learned counsel for the petitioner are quantified at Rs.1,500/-.

Order accordingly.
