DATED :- FEBRUARY 2, 2024 The appeal is filed for grant of bail under Section 14-A of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.

After hearing the learned Counsel for the appellant and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State to some extent, I have expressed disinclination to grant bail to the present appellant.

In view of that, learned Counsel for the appellant seeks permission to withdraw the appeal with liberty to file afresh after six months if there is no substantial progress in the trial.

Permission is granted.

The application is disposed of as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for.

The fees of the appointed Counsel be quantified as per rules.
