Crime No.162/2017 came to be registered against the applicant (doctor) for the offence punishable under Sections 354-A(i) of the Indian Penal Code on the complaint lodged by prosecutrix, aged about 29 years. The applicant surrendered before the Judicial Magistrate First Class, he was sent to magisterial custody remand and was released on 20th July, 2017. The victim gave supplementary statement on 22nd July, 2017 alleging that the applicant had inserted fingers in her private part and committed the crime punishable under Section 376(2)(e) (k) of the Indian Penal Code. After addition of above offence, the applicant applied for pre-arrest bail. The learned Additional Sessions Judge has rejected this application and, therefore, the applicant has approached this Court.

2 aba555.7 Considering the facts of the case, nature of accusations against the applicant and the claim of the applicant that he is not involved in any other crime / offence, following order is passed:

In the event of arrest in connection with Crime No.162/2017 registered by the non-applicant, the applicant be released on bail on executing P.R. bond for Rs.20,000/- (Rs. Twenty Thousand) and furnishing one solvent surety in the like amount.
