It is seen from the complaint itself that for the alleged cheating of the year 2012, the first information report has been lodged in June, 2016. One of the allegations is that this applicant had issued a forged appointment letter to the complainant in June, 2013. But, even thereafter, the complainant had continued to pay further amounts to the applicant, as per his own story, There is no dispute about the fact that this applicant had made complaint to the Chief Minister, State of Maharashtra against the informant contending that the informant was harassing him by issuing threats of involving him in a false criminal case if the applicant failed to repay further amount together with the interest at the rate demanded by him and that some enquiry was ordered into this complaint.

The order passed regarding taking of appropriate steps in the matter at the level of the Chief Minister's secretariat is of 12/4/2016 and the complaint has been filed against the applicant on 25/6/2016. All these facts and circumstances create a doubt about the bona fides of the complainant. This is, therefore, a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail. Hence, the order. The application is allowed and the interim bail granted to the applicant by this Court on 19/8/2016 is hereby confirmed on the same conditions.
