This is an application for amendment. Though the application is opposed, I am of the opinion that, it may be allowed for the reason that, the present writ petition is not yet admitted and furthermore, by way of amendment, the petitioners are raising challenge to the Constitutionality of the Statute 53.

In the circumstances, for the reason stated in the application, the application is allowed.

Necessary amendment be carried out within one week from today.

After amending the prayer clause, office to verify whether the present petition would lie before the Division Bench.
