Applicant/respondent No. 1 has filed this application to permit her to withdraw the amount of compensation deposited by the appellant for which learned counsel for the appellant has objected. 3.

However, considering the reasons disclosed in the application as well as the fact that the appellant has deposited approximately 50% to 60% compensation amount, I do not find substance in the objection.

As such, the application is allowed. The applicant is permitted to withdraw the compensation amount along with interest accrued thereon, on her furnishing the usual undertaking and bank account details to the Registry.

Registrar (J) is directed to transmit said amount along with interest accrued thereon, in the bank account of the applicant, within

CIVIL APPLICATION (CAF) NO. 2985 OF 2025 Learned counsel for the appellant seeks three weeks to file a reply to the application.
