By this application, the applicant is seeking quashment of charge-sheet no. 553 of 2020 bearing C.C. No. 3525 of 2020 pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate First Class, Amravati arising out of First Information Report No. 1021 of 2019 registered with the Gadge Nagar Police Station, Amravati City for the offence punishable under Sections 143, 323, 504, 506, 294 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

Learned Counsel for the applicant and learned Counsel for non-applicant no. 2 made a joint statement that the matter has been settled before the learned Mediator and for the said reasons, non-applicant no. 2 does not want to prosecute against the present applicant. 4.

Since the parties have settled their dispute before the learned Mediator and the report is filed on the record, continuation of prosecution in such case even if the trial is conducted, no fruitful purpose would be

(b) Charge-sheet no. 553 of 2020 bearing C.C.
