By this Writ Petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner is challenging order passed by the Deputy Director, Land Records, Amravati in exercise of powers under Section 247 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 against which the petitioner has an alternative statutory efficacious remedy by way of revision under Section 257 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966.

In view of the said remedy, the petition is dismissed as not maintainable with a liberty to the petitioner to adopt statutory remedy, if he so desires. 3.
