DATED : 20 -09-2024 On 6.9.2024, this Court heard the petitioner-in-person and recorded that the Court is not satisfied with the contentions which are canvassed through the present petition, for want of legal basis. Since the petitioner sought time to prepare and address the Court, we have granted sufficient time to him and the matter is listed today for hearing.

Mr. Rajesh Chawhan, petitioner-in-person, who is physically present in the Court, is given opportunity to address the matter. However, he suggests that he has nothing to add more. 3.

We have perused the prayer in the petition wherein the petitioner has sought issuance of direction to recover damages from the Police Officers by appointing a Commission in the matter of theft/misappropriation of the Government property viz. minor mineral-sand. He has also prayed for certain ancillary reliefs in relation to the aforesaid issue. The petitioner has sought to invoke the extra-ordinary writ jurisdiction of this Court to cause enquiry against the Police Officers for which there is no basis except his naked pleadings.

Though the petitioner has relied upon certain documentary

2 938wp5177.2024..odt evidence, the same speaks about the action being taken by the Revenue Authority in the matter of recovery of fine from the illegal transporters.

Apart from above, this Court is equally required to be sensitive to the fact that the petitioner is having criminal antecedents.
