Heard Shri Hitesh Katekar, learned counsel (appointed) for the applicant/ appellant and Mrs. N.R. Tripathi, learned APP for the non-applicant.

The prayer is to condone delay of 51 days in filing appeal under Section 374(1) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. The applicant/ appellant is convicted by the Additional Sessions Judge, Chandrapur on 04.03.2016 and is sentenced to life imprisonment. He is in jail. In this situation, though the learned APP is seeking time to verify the facts, we condone the delay.
