This petition takes exception to the order dated 4th July, 2024 passed by the respondent no.1 Collector, Gondia in Dispute No. 39 of 2023-24. 2.

The petitioner was elected as a member of Gram Panchayat Maharitola and then Sarpanch. On 11th March, 2024 out of nine members, seven members gave requisition notice to respondent no.2 - the Tehsildar that they proposed to move motion of no confidence against the petitioner. Pursuant to said requisition notice special meeting was conveyed on 18th March, 2024. In SKNair

4-wp-4877-24(j).odt the said meeting nine members were present and seven voted in favour of no confidence motion. No interference is thus called for in the impugned order. The petition is dismissed.
