The University has refused to recommend the case of the petitioner since as per the Government Resolutions dated 25.2.2011 and 23.2.2012, five years confidential reports are necessary to be apprised by the Committee to find out suitability of a candidate for continuation upto the age of 62years.

Since the petitioner does not possess continuous service of five years, we do not find that a case is made out for interference in the discretion by the Apprisal Committee of the University.

Writ Petition is rejected.
