In this writ petition an order dated 09/10/2009 passed by the learned Presiding Officer, School Tribunal Amravati is under challenge. By that order the appeal preferred by respondent No.1 herein was allowed. The promotion of the petitioner on the post of Headmaster with effect from 02/05/2009 was declared to be illegal. Accordingly the respondent No.1 herein was directed to be promoted on the post of Headmaster. This Court had stayed the judgment of the School Tribunal as a result of which the

An affidavit dated 03/11/2018 has been filed on behalf of the petitioner in which he has stated that he has since retired from the post of Headmaster and that he was receiving pension as per the last pay drawn on the post of Headmaster. It is also stated that the petitioner's grievance does not now survive.

Hence accepting the statements made in the affidavit the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
