It is the case of the petitioner that the order passed in Writ Petition No.825/2015 thereby directing to grant deemed date of promotion to the petitioner in Class-II services w.e.f. 28.11.1970 and further promotion as an Executive Engineer w.e.f. 28.12.1986 and also to release the monetary benefits to the petitioner within four months is not complied with.
An affidavit is filed on behalf of the respondent no.2 wherein a statement is made that the petitioner has been granted deemed date of promotion as Sub-Divisional Engineer w.e.f. 28.11.1970 and an Executive Engineer w.e.f. 28.12.1986 and the petitioner is also paid an amount of Rs.31,027/- towards difference of salary.
2 cp244.18 A pursis is filed by the petitioner on 4.3.2020 stating that the petitioner is not pressing the contempt petition because of very old age and as he has received 90% of the claim prayed for and, therefore, the matter may be closed.
In view of the aforesaid, as the order stands complied with, nothing survives in the contempt petition, the same is accordingly disposed of.
