The prayer of the petitioner is for deciding the legality of the order dated 19.06.2019 passed by the Tahsildar in exercise of power under the provisions of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966.

In our opinion, the petitioner has an alternate remedy of appeal under the provisions of Section 247 of Chapter - XIII of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966.

That being so, we dispose of the petition by permitting the petitioner to take recourse to alternate remedy.

4.

Time spent by the petitioner in pursing the present petition be considered, in case, if the issue of limitation crops up.

5.

Needless to clarify that the Court has not examined the matter on merits.
