It is the case of the petitioner that, despite the land in question owned by petitioner was acquired by the respondents, the compensation is not paid till date. We are of the opinion that, the respondents shall be granted one opportunity to look into the matter and take a decision expeditiously, and if the petitioner is entitled for the compensation, the same shall be released.

Accordingly, we direct the respondent no. 4 to treat the present petition as a representation of the petitioner and consider the claim of the petitioner for compensation taking into consideration the grounds raised in the petition as well as the documents filed along with the petition. Such decision shall be taken within a period of five weeks from today.

The petitioner undertakes to place a copy of this order on the record of the respondent no. 4 along with a

The decision on the representation shall be communicated to the petitioner within two weeks from the date of decision.

If the respondent no. 4 passes the order in favour of the petitioner, the compensation towards the acquisition of land of the petitinoer shall be released expeditiously and in any case within 12 weeks from such decision.
