Compliance with the Court order dated 13/10/2015 in CAW No.1667/2015 in Writ Petition No.2911/1989 and other connected matters appears to have been done on 5th October, 2017.

Affidavit accordingly has been served upon the counsel for the contempt petitioner on 31/10/2017.

Adv. Mr. Ghate for petitioners is seeking time of one week to verify from his clients the correctness of assertions.

Request for adjournment is opposed by the learned senior Advocate.

It appears that exercise of regularization and consequential thereto was to be undertaken after adjudication by the Hon'ble Apex Court. That adjudication is on 22 nd February, 2017. This Court order that respondents to take decision within a period of 3 months as far as possible.

It is pointed out to us that after adjudication by the Hon'ble Apex Court, all over India decision was taken in relation to about 12,000 similarly situated employees.

In this situation, we do not find it time taken unreasonable so as to attract contempt proceedings.
9.
Keeping all other contentions of petitioners open, with above observations, we dispose of contempt petition. No costs.
