DATE :
DECEMBER 22, 2025.
The learned counsel appearing for the appellant fairly submits that the impugned order was misread. The Trial Court has granted Rs.5,000/- each as compensation under Section 357(1)(b) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, i.e., total amount of Rs.15,000/- and the Appellate Court has, in addition to such order, has awarded Rs.2,500/- each i.e. total amounting to Rs.10,000/-, under Section 357(a) of the Cr.P.C.
2.
However, the learned counsel appearing for the appellant submits that he has misread the order, as if, the order of the trial Court granting Rs.5,000/- each was reduced to Rs.2,500/- each.
10-Cr.APPEAL-518-2021 Therefore, he submits that the appeal be disposed of as not pressed. It is made clear that the amount of Rs.2,500/- each granted by the Sessions Judge, Akola, is in addition to the order dated 12/09/2018 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, (Court No.08), Akola. Therefore, it appears that the order was wrongly read by the appellant, and therefore, the appeal is preferred. Considering the request of appellant, the appeal is disposed of. [ M.M.
