It is the case of the petitioner that her land is affected because of execution of the project by the respondent no.3 without there being any acquisition proceedings.

Our attention is invited to the fact that the issue is already referred by the respondent no.2 to the respondent no.1 as could be inferred from the communication dated 10.06.2024 produced at Annexure-L-3.

In this background, we deem it appropriate to direct the respondent no.1 to take a decision on the said issue as expeditiously as possible and in any case, within a period of eight weeks from the date of production of copy of this order. Decision taken be communicated to the petitioner.

With these directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
