This is application for condonation of 327 days delay in filing the appeal against judgment and order dated 20.07.2022, passed by Additional Sessions Judge, Akola in Sessions Trial No.90/2018, thereby convicting the appellant for the offences punishable under Sections 354-A(i) of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Section 7 punishable under Section 8 of the Protection of Children From Sexual Offences Act, 2012.

The learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is in jail and has limitation to communicate with his relatives and advocate. It also took time to collect the documents and give instructions. This appeal being under Section 374(2) of the Criminal Procedure Code, 1973 and for the reasons set out in the application, the application is allowed. The delay is condoned.

The application is disposed of.

The appeal be registered.
