3) The land of the petitioner to the extent of 0.009 R from Gat No.149 came to be acquired under the provisions of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013. Notice under Section 37(2) of the said Act came to be issued by the Special Land Acquisition Officer determining compensation for the said land to the extent of Rs.1,04,066/-. According to the petitioner, the aforesaid amount of compensation has still not been released in his favour. On 26/4/2023 the petitioner has issued a communication to the respondent to release the said amount.

2408wp5427.23 2/2 4) In the aforesaid facts, interest of justice would be served by directing the respondent to consider the petitioner' s request as made in the communication dated 26/4/2023 in the matter of release of compensation and take a decision thereon within a period of four weeks of receiving copy of the present order.
