Heard learned counsel for both the parties.

Vide order dated 23.12.2021, the parties were directed to appear before the Mediator on 27.12.2021 to explore the possibility of settlement of dispute.

This Court is informed that the matter has been settled on the same day i.e. 27th December, 2021 itself. The report of Mediator is also received, which shows that the matter has been settled amicably between the parties. Broadly speaking, the settlement terms indicate that the petitioners, who are the plaintiffs in RCS No. 13/2020 will get 63% of the amount of compensation of the land which may be acquired, while the respondents who are the defendants nos. 1 to 7 in the suit below will get 37% of the amount of compensation. It has been further agreed that the petitioners/plaintiffs will withdraw the suit being RCS No.13/2020 pending on the file of learned Civil Judge, Jr.Dn. Sangrampur.

Learned Advocates appearing for both the parties have jointly requested for disposing of the petition in terms of the settlement arrived at between the parties.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of in terms of the settlement, as has been recorded by the learned Mediator in her report dated 27th December,2021.
