There was no appearance on behalf of the petitioner on 04.02.2020, hence the matter was kept today. Today also there is no appearance on behalf of the petitioner, though the matter is called out twice.

While admitting the Writ Petition, this Court had directed that it be heard along with Writ Petition No. 3605/2005. Said Writ Petition No. 3605/2005 along with various other Writ Petitions was decided on 05.06.2008 by passing the following order:- "1.

All these matters can be disposed of in view of the statement made by the learned Additional Government Pleader Mrs.

Dangre that the Superintendent of Land Records will examine each of these cases to correct the records, provided the petitioners were to make formal representation/ appeal to the concerned authority within two months from today, praying for correction of their individual record. It is also assured that each

213WP5594.06 2/2 application will be disposed of by the authority not latter than six months from its presentation. That would address the grievance of the petitioners in the present petitions. No other contention is required to be addressed. All questions with regard to the proceedings before the appropriate authority and /or it'

s decision are left open. Both sides agree that all these petitions be disposed of on the above terms.

It is also submitted by the learned Assistant Government Pleader that subsequently, similar issues have been decided in Writ Petition No. 4433/1999 (Smt. Jaikumari Amarbahadursingh & ors. Vs. State of Maharashtra through the Secretary, Revenue & Forest Deptt. & Anr.), reported in 2009(1) ALL MR 343. 3.

In the light of the aforesaid order passed in Writ Petition No. 3605/2005, this Writ Petition is also disposed of in terms of that order. The petitioner is free to follow the course as directed to be followed in Writ Petition No.3605/2005.

Rule is disposed of in aforesaid terms. No costs.
