The writ petition is filed for a direction against the university to constitute the grievance committee so that the grievance of the petitioner could be decided. It is stated on behalf of the respondent-University that during the pendency of the writ petition, the grievance committee is constituted and the grievance of the petitioner is taken up for hearing. It is stated that the matter is fixed on 29.12.2016.
The learned counsel for the petitioner states that some subsequent developments have taken place after the grievance was filed and, hence, it would be necessary for the petitioner to bring those developments before the grievance committee.
The petitioner is free to do so, if permissible in law.
Since the grievance committee is constituted and the grievance of the petitioner is taken up for hearing, the cause for filing the writ petition would not survive.
WP5211-16 The writ petition is, therefore, disposed of with no order as to costs.
