By this petition, the petitioner has prayed for revision of his pension.

On hearing the learned counsel for the parties and on a perusal of the affidavit in reply filed on behalf of the respondents, it appears that during the pendency of the writ petition, the pension payable to the petitioner has been revised and the grievance of the petitioner would not survive, in that regard.

In the facts of the case, we are not inclined to grant interest on the delayed payment of arrears on account of revised pension, as the delay was not deliberate and intentional.

In view of the aforesaid, we dispose of the writ petition with no order as to costs.
