The petitioner was directly elected on the post of Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat Tamaswadi, which was reserved for Nomadic Tribe (B) category. By the order impugned, respondent No.1 has disqualified the present petitioner in terms of Section 30(1-A) of the Maharashtra Village Panchayats Act, 1959. The petitioner has already filed the petition before this Court against the order of the Caste Scrutiny Committee invalidating her caste claim. The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that in the facts and circumstances he be permitted to withdraw the present petition with liberty to take exception to the order impugned in the petition filed by the petitioner against the order of Scrutiny Committee.

The petition is disposed of as withdrawn with liberty as sought.
