Heard learned counsel for the parties.

By way of present petition, the petitioners have approached this Court for directions to the respondents to grant revised pay-scale of Rs.4000-6000 to the post of 'Laboratory Assistant'.

At the outset, the learned Assistant Government Pleader has tendered copy of communication issued by the Director of Education, Maharashtra State, Pune, which is taken on record and marked 'X' for identification. 4.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader by inviting attention of this Court to the said communication has stated that in view of new policy adopted by the Department, the claim of the petitioners would be taken into consideration.

In that view of the matter, we direct the respondent - Authority to consider the claim of the petitioners in the light of the subsequent development.

Needless to clarify that if the respondent Authority finds that the petitioners are entitled, it shall release the benefits to the petitioners expeditiously.

With these observations and directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No order as to costs.
