By this writ petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to the Scrutiny Committee to accept the caste certificate of the petitioner and decide her caste claim, within a time frame. The petitioner seeks a direction against the respondent-College and University to protect the education of the petitioner, till her caste claim is decided. During the pendency of the petition, in terms of our interim orders, the petitioner has submitted the original caste certificate to the Scrutiny Committee.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader states that the caste claim of the petitioner would be decided as early as possible. In view of the aforesaid, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the Scrutiny Committee to decide the caste claim of the petitioner within one year from the date of appearance of the petitioner before the Scrutiny Committee. The petitioner undertakes to appear before the Scrutiny Committee on 27/12/2016. The education of the petitioner is protected, till her caste claim is decided. Order accordingly. No costs.
