DATE : 22-01-2025 Heard Mr. P.R. Puri, learned Counsel for the petitioner. The petitioner claims relief of a direction to the respondent No.2 to confirm the K-Prat of the measured land of Survey Nos.1101/1 to 1101/7.

It is not disputed by the learned Counsel for the petitioner that objections to the measurement has been raised by the respondent Nos.3 and 4, which are pending before the respondent No.2 in proceedings bearing No.171/2021 (Page No.43). It is, therefore, apparent that in terms of Rule 16(2) of the Maharashtra Land Revenue (Revenue Surveys and SubDivisions of Survey Number) Rules, 1969 any final K-Prat can only be issued, after the dispute is finally decided one way or
2 wp7711.22 the other. In that view of the matter, the relief claimed in petition cannot be granted. The petition is therefore, dismissed, however, the respondent No.2 is directed to decide the proceedings pending before him, as early as possible, and in any case, on or before 30-3-2025.
