DATE : 18.11.2016 Shri Karmarkar, the learned Counsel for the petitioner states that though the Scrutiny Committee had not decided the caste claim within the time framed by this Court, during the pendency of the contempt petition, the caste claim of the petitioner is decided.

In view of the aforesaid statement, it would not be necessary to proceed with the contempt petition any longer. Hence, we dispose of the contempt petition with no order as to costs.
