Heard learned counsel for the parties.

By the present application, the applicants are before this Court seeking quashment of First Information Report No. 121/2014 registered at Lakhani Police Station. The report was arising out of the commercial transactions.

Learned counsel appearing for the parties submit that the parties have settled their dispute amicably. The parties are also present in this Court and reiterated that they have arrived at an amicable settlement and there is no grievance against each other. A pursis is also placed on record duly signed by the parties and their counsel respectively. Considering the fact that the dispute is purely of civil nature and no element of public law is involved and in view of the judgment of the Apex Court in the case of Narinder Singh and ors. Vs. State of Punjab and anr. reported in (2014) 6 SCC .....2/-

2 apl646.15.odt 466, we find that in this matter by exercising powers under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, the prayer of the applicants can be granted. In the result, the application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (i).
