CORAM : B.R. GAVAI AND MRS. MRIDULA BHATKAR, JJ.
DATE : FEBRUARY 23 , 2015.
The petitioner has filed the present petition for a direction to the respondents to delete the name of village Gaigaon from the advertisement issued by the respondent no.2. It is the contention of the petitioner that permission to start the Urdu Medium Secondary School at village Gaigaon is already granted to the petitioner and, therefore, inclusion of the name of village Gaigaon in the advertisement for inviting applications from societies interested to open the Urdu Medium Secondary School is not permissible.
In paragraph 7 of the affidavit-in-reply, it has been categorically stated that the petitioner was granted permission to open Urdu Medium Secondary School at Gaigaon. In that view of the matter, the petition has served its purpose. The petition is disposed of as such by taking on record the statement made by the respondent no.2 in paragraph 7 of the affidavit-in-reply. No costs.
