I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Addl. G.P. for the respondent No.1/State. 2.

The grievance in the present petition is in relation to the non-grant of oral hearing by the respondent No.1. It appears that the respondent No.1 by order dated 07.08.2024 has closed the appeal filed by the petitioner for orders with liberty to the petitioner to file written notes of arguments, if any, within 15 days.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that considering the complexity of the issues involved in the appeal, opportunity of oral hearing was sought.

I have perused the petition and various orders annexed to the petition. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, nd.thawre

910.odt the respondent No.1 ought to have granted opportunity of oral hearing to the petitioner.

The respondent No.1, therefore, shall recall the order dated 07.08.2024 and shall grant an opportunity of oral hearing to the petitioner. For that purpose, the petitioner shall appear before the respondent No.1 on 02.09.2024.
