It is submission of learned counsel Shri S.V.Sirpurkar for the appellant that the present appeal under Section 14-A(1) of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 has rendered infructuous inasmuch as according to him, the present appellant filed proceedings under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for quashing of First Information Report by filing Criminal Application (APL) No.966/2019 and the said application is allowed by Division Bench of this Court (Coram : Z.A.Haq and Pushpa V.Ganediwala, JJ.) on 27.9.2019 and the Division Bench quashed First Information Report. He, therefore, submitted that the present appeal be disposed of as infructuous.

The statement is accepted.
