DATE : 08.02.2017 By this contempt petition, the petitioner seeks action against the respondents for wilful disobedience of the directions in the order dated 8.3.2016 in Writ Petition No.624/2015. According to the petitioner, since the representation made by the petitioner was not decided by the respondents within six weeks from the date of its receipt, the petitioner had filed the contempt proceedings.

Shri K.L. Dharmadhikari, the learned Counsel for the respondents states by referring to the affidavit-in-reply filed on behalf of the respondents that though there is some delay in deciding the representation, the representation was decided on

0802cp299.16.odt 21.10.2016. It is stated that the delay caused in deciding the representation was not deliberate or intentional. Since the respondents have rendered a decision on the representation made by the petitioner, the contempt petition is disposed of with no order as to costs.
