CORAM : SMT. VASANTI A. NAIK AND PRASANNA B. VARALE, JJ.

DATE : DECEMBER 01 , 2015.

The only prayer made by the petitioner is for a direction to the respondent to decide the statutory appeal filed by the petitioner before the State Government in December-2011, within a time frame.

Since the prayer made by the petitioner is innocuous, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondent to decide the appeal filed by the petitioner, if not decided till date, within a period of four months from the date of service of the notice on the Estate Officer of the Nagpur Municipal Corporation, Nagpur, as the same appears to be pending for a period of more than four years. We make it clear that we have not made any observations in regard to the maintainability of the appeal. No costs.
