It is stated that matter has been settled before the Mediator. Parties have filed settlement terms before the Mediator. The same are placed on record in this petition. In this application, in terms of the settlement, the prayer is made by the petitioner to allow him to deposit demand draft bearing No.156631 dated 15/02/2023 of State Bank of India for Rs.5,80,000/- in the Court.

Learned Advocate for the respondent submits that the deposit is in terms of the settlement.

The application is allowed.

The petitioner is allowed to deposit the demand draft. It is made clear that respondent is entitled to withdraw the amount on complying the terms and conditions of the settlement agreement namely withdrawal of all pending proceedings by and between the parties.

The application stands disposed of.

CRIMINAL WRIT PETITION NO.663 OF 2022 1.

Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that in terms of the mutual settlement agreement placed on record, the parties have settled their dispute. It is submitted that the dispute, therefore, does not survive.

In view of the mutual settlement terms placed on record, this petition stands disposed of.
