By the order dated 20.08.2019, it was directed that the written statement of the respondent no.2-Secretary of the Gram Panchayat, Navegaon be taken on record of the proceedings pending before the Collector. It was observed that if the respondent no.3 had any objection to the copy of the written statement being taken on record then the further proceedings before the Collector would remain stayed.

Shri V.B. Bhise, learned counsel for the respondent no.3, on instructions, submits that the respondent no.3 has no objection if the said written statement is taken on record. In view of this, the Collector shall proceed with the adjudication of the proceedings under Section 14(1)(j-3) of the Maharashtra Village Panchayats Act, 1959 after considering the said written statement filed by the respondent no.2. With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
